About Us

Our Story

It started with something almost embarrassingly small: a dog, a rainy walk, and a hallway I'd just cleaned twenty minutes earlier.

I remember standing there, towel in hand, thinking — this can't be the best solution. A towel that never quite dries fast enough, a floor that never quite stays clean, a routine that turns a good walk into a small daily chore. So I started looking for something better. What I found instead was a market full of products that looked like an afterthought — flimsy plastic, stock photos that didn't match what showed up, and not one of them made for someone who actually cared how their home looked.

That gap became Pet & Co.

Every product starts the same way — with a real, specific annoyance, not a trend. Before anything goes in the shop, it goes through our own front door first. The Paw Rinse™ Cup spent weeks in our own hallway before it ever reached a listing — tested on actual muddy walks, in actual British weather, against the actual dog who inspired it in the first place. If it didn't survive that, it didn't survive at all.

We're picky about the small things most stores skip. The bristle softness that won't irritate sensitive paws. The twist mechanism that shouldn't stick after the fiftieth use. The size range that fits a small terrier and a large retriever without either one feeling like an afterthought. None of it is glamorous, but it's the difference between something that works once and something that earns a place by your front door permanently.

We also say no, a lot. For every product on this site, there are several we tried, tested, and quietly rejected — because it looked fine in photos but felt cheap in hand, or because "good enough" isn't the bar we're building toward.

This isn't a big operation. It's a small one, built by someone who got genuinely annoyed at muddy floors and decided that was worth fixing properly. Every product that carries the Pet & Co name has been used, tested, and approved by us first — because we're not selling anything we wouldn't want tracked through our own house.

Happy pets, happy life.
